They have a little bit of soft cushion around the plate for comfortability and to help protect it from a small drop. They fit inside just about any 10x12 plate carrier bags. I wear the LAPG lvl III plates when I’m on the range as a Range Master, and when I want to have a weighted vest for a work out."

Are these spall coated?: Hello, Our plates are ceramic plates, not steel plates so they do not have any coating.
Does it comes in pairs of 2?: Hello, Our LAPG Plates are sold separately they do not come in pairs.
Will this fit in a 5.11 Tac Tec Plate Carrier? Thank you!: Hello, Our plates measures 9.85 x 11.8" You would have to measure the plate insert of your 5.11 plate carrier to see if this plate would fit. Or if you have placed a 10x12 plate before then this would fit perfectly.
I see that these plates are NIJ-tested, but that is not the same thing as NIJ-CERTIFIED. Are they also certified by NIJ?: Hello, No they are not NIJ Certified, they are tested up to NIJ standards.
