Simple & Easy Returns

If you are not 100% satisfied with your LAPG purchase, you may return your order to us for a full product refund or store credit.

Return Instructions

Return RMA Instructions:

  • NEW - LA Police Gear now requires an RMA # that we must issue you! We have a new & easy online returns system for customers who have an online account at LAPG.com that streamlines the process.
    • If you were signed into your account when making your purchase:
      • Sign into your account
      • Click on your “Orders” tab
      • Once you identify the order number that contains the items you would like to return, Click the “Return Items?” link on the right
        • OR you can click on the order number to view the items on the order, then under actions on the bottom right, click the button “Return”
      • Adjust the quantity for the eligible items you would like to return
      • Fill out the Return Reason, Return Action and Comments at the bottom
      • Click the Submit Return Request at the bottom of the page
      • A confirmation page will appear
      • You will receive an email containing your RMA and instructions within 1-2 business days
    • If you checked out as a guest
      • Please use our contact form and email us your return request
        • To help us expedite the process, in the “Message” section please include all item numbers, quantities and reason for returning the items you would like to return
      • We will create the RMA and email it to you for you to include in your return package
  • All you need to include in your return package is the merchandise (which is in its original, brand-new condition and its original packaging) and the printed out RMA form we email you. If you can write the RMA # on the outside of the package that makes things even easier for our returns team.

Additional Information:

  • Please allow 24-48 hours for your return request to be reviewed.
  • If you need to perform an exchange, simply return the original merchandise using the above instructions. Then just place a new order online – this order will ship as soon as possible. You will be refunded for the original returned merchandise as soon we can process the return. If the original order had a discount that you need applied to your new replacement order, you may type that in the comments during checkout.
  • As soon as we receive and process your return, we will issue a refund to the original credit card. Please note that we can only issue refunds to your credit card within 45 days of the original shipment date. If you send back a return that is 45 days or more after the original shipment date, you will be issued a store credit.
  • Orders placed between 1/8/2019 and 1/7/2020 have until 365 days from their shipment date to return their order (to honor our old policy). New orders going forward from there have 60 days from their shipment date.
  • Unless otherwise stated directly by LA Police Gear, the buyer is responsible for all return shipping charges. Exceptions typically include defective merchandise or merchandise shipped incorrectly by LAPG.
  • Boots must be returned in the original box, which also CANNOT be used as the shipping box. You must ship the boots back in the original packaging, inside another box.
  • LA Police Gear does not refund the original shipping charge (when applicable).
  • If you received any promotional item(s) with your order, and you need to return the item(s) that earned you those promotional item(s), you will also need to include the promotional item(s) with your return.
  • There are only a few reasons we cannot accept an item back, and those are for health, safety, or hygiene concerns: Pepper Spray, Body Armor, Underwear, and in-ear hearing protection are not eligible for return. Click here for more details.
  • Receive a defective item? Some defective items (Blackhawk, Oakley, Luminox, Monadnock) must be returned directly to the manufacturer. Otherwise, please contact us, and we will email you with a free return shipping label so we can expedite the return for you (only valid for US orders).
