These Rocky Portland Lace-to-Toe Waterproof Duty Boot are a combination of full-grain polishable leather and nylon. The leather looks good and adds great durability; the 1000 denier nylon is strong to resist abrasions, yet still lightweight.

This pair of black public service boots also has a lace-to-toe design on the upper, providing firm support and allowing you greater adjustment in the fit of your boots.

To keep you from walking around with wet feet while you're on duty, these men's public service boots have Rocky Waterproof construction. This feature is guaranteed to keep your feet dry.

The outsole with rubber lugs provides great traction and flexibility, so the boot soles support you when you stand or walk for hours, even if you move on uneven terrain. These soles are durable, oil-resistant and slip-resistant. Also inside the men's black boots is a non-metallic stabilizer to provide foot support without adding unnecessary metal parts.

Rocky Portland Boots

"These boots fit true to size. They are light weight and comfortable. They also hold a good shine. I would buy another pair over Danner’s. "

Wrong Boot Size

"I ordered these boots in a size 10.5 on July 3rd. I received them on July 7th but LAPG sent me a size 11.5. I immediately sent them an email concerning the problem and never got a response. On July 11th I attempted to call and talk to someone and their customer service line doesn't even have an option to speak to a human. Afterwards I filled out their contact us message submission and never got a response. On July 12th I sent them another email. Still no response. I can't make a review whether the boots are good or not because LAPG will not give me the time of day to get them exchanged. I have ordered thousands of dollars here and never had a problem but this is the last time I will do business with LAPG."

Rocky Portland

"These boots held up in the academy and will last forever with a couple resoles. They are extremely comfortable and light considering they are a traditional looking boot."

Great Pair of Boots, Needs Break in Time

"These are a good pair of boots, however, there is a break in period needed before wearing them for duty. The first five days I wore them for 8-9 hours each day and they were uncomfortable. They pushed in and pinched areas of my feet and ankles and I was not sure if I would be able to wear them for my training. I have a pair of Danner Recons (Which I love!...no break in period and very comfortable) that I bought through LA Police Gear as my duty boots and I needed a pair for when I do E.V.O.C. and range training and bought these for that purpose. Now that I have worn them and broken them in, they are a good pair and I have been wearing them everyday when I go out to do errands. Only reason I am giving four out of five stars is because they were uncomfortable during the five days of breaking them in."
