Downsized AR-15 mag pockets

"I like them but for some reason they downsized the internal rifle mag pockets. I just got a pair of these today and for some reason the AR rifle mag pockets on the inside of the cargo pockets won't accommodate any AR-15 magazines. They were designed to fit 2 AR-15 mags per cargo pocket and I tried PMags and even regular USGI steel mags and even those won't fit. I've got several pairs of the pants and they allow you to use any type of (standard 30rd) AR mags. The things that I've read about these say that they are a direct copy of the pants. I'm a little mad that they are not. I was looking to use these somewhat for competition and just everyday use but can't store my AR mags in them. They're still pretty comfortable, will probably buy some more when they come back in stock."

Decent shorts but it has a LONG 9 inseam!

"Decent shorts that are true to size on waist and fits relatively well but has a LONG 9 inseam that stops just above the knees. The expandable waist works well and hopefully will last a few years as it tends to stretch over time on other brands' pants. Why do companies insist on LONG inseams instead of shorter ones like 7 (or 5)? Make the Shorter inseam versions! The khaki color is Much Darker than the photo shows. The side tiny pockets are meant for magazine clips as an encased iPhone 5S barely fits with the top protruding on the pocket's top. The left side pockets are identical to the right side pockets. The rear pockets are a bit snug to fit a wallet. Front pockets are deep. Wished that buttons were used instead of velcro to secure the side and rear pockets. The 24-7 ripstop material seems more durable and a bit heavier than the 5.11 ripstop version. Haven't washed it yet but hopefully it will keep its waist size but shrink on the length/inseam. Hopefully, the shorts will last a few years."

Only shorts that I wear to work

"I bought a pair of these shorts four years ago to try them out, and can say that they are now the only shorts that I wear to work. I own six pairs, with one being the original one ordered, and they are fantastic. Lots of room in the pockets for carrying tools and gear that you might need on a gig as an entertainment tech, and the fit is good. Belt loops are sturdy, and the no-gap waistband is nice when you spend a lot of time crawling under decks and stages to run cable."
