Best Boot for the Buck

"The Khyber II lace-up boot is the only boot i have bought that fit and felt perfect right out of the box. Felt like i had been wearing that pair for years."

Best Boots EVER

"By far the most comfortable boots you will ever purchase. There is no break in period. They are good to go right out of the box. I am in the K-9 unit the boots are perfect for my line of police work."

Should have known better

"I have 2 other pair of boots made by Belleville. So I thought I would give the Tactical Research a try. Just like the others, they slid right on, and with no break in, I wore them the entire day with good support and comfort. The size was also the exact same size as my other pairs. Have not had a chance to see how waterproof they are, but hopefully they are the same. I use these for SAR work."

Tactical boots

"I bought a pair of these. Never again. Was supposed to have a warranty. I wore them less than six months on patrol. Most of that time was in a vehicle. The sole began coming off and one of the boots completely split from the sole. Now the company refuses to do anything."

Best tactical boots

"I have waited a year to give this review. Day 1, I was extremely disappointed while pulling up the zipper, it bent, I was used to the bigger zippers of the 5.11 and Bates boots. After that I learned to be not as forceful with the zippers. A couple of days later I had an eyelet pull out, not feeling the love for these boots. Since those two items these boots have been the best boots I have ever owned. From the first second I put them on, they have bee the most comfortable boots and after a year they are still in service and in great shape. None of the other brands even come close to lasting this long! I will be a Tactical Research customer long into the future!"

Something wrong with these boots

"I received the boots today ( 11/1/18). They look really good but there's something wrong with the design ( I believe it's defective ). It looks weird at the foot ankel area. I tied the laces but still the same problem ( see the attached pictures). This first time ever I have seen boots like these !!! I'm going to send them back."

Good boot

"I like this boot it fits well and looks good, also like how this zipper fits very well and that I don't have to loosen anything to get it off or on."

Cause Plantar Fasciitis

"The only support is in the insole. The insole only lasted about four months. I continued wearing the boots and developed painful plantar fasciitis. I have a coworker who also developed plantar fasciitis while wearing these boots. I have seen other reviews online that mention this issue. Other than the lack of arch support the boot is not bad. It is good sturdy leather. It is definitely waterproof. They are probably not the best if you work in a hot climate. The outsole does not last long if you wear the boots on rugged terrain. I guess they are ok for the price-point if you don't mind plantar fasciitis pain."

Q&A

I wear 36 and i don’t know whats the correct size please help me
Are you referring to wearing a size 36 EU? If so, the conversion looks like a US Women’s size 5.5 or 6, or a US Men's size 4.5.
