"The concept is sound but with modifications it can be perfect. Tweaked the mag holders to slip in slim pouches, added a pistol belt to add a variety of different pouches and cases, and a hydration bladder with a water purifier attachment to the drink hose. Imagination is the only thing that limits how you use this item."

Warm weather light use

"I bought this for hydration and attaching binos and range finder pouches while hog hunting in hot weather. Stitching on mag pouches extends about halfway down the back of the pouches attached to lower front of the cummerbund. I don’t plan to use it for hard use, so it will probably hold up well enough for my purposes."

Does this open up in the front, so I can scratch my belly?: Yes, this item is able to fully open in the front.
Will this fit vz58 or ak47 mags?: No, this Condor Chest Set cannot fit vz.58 or AK 47 magazines.

Does this have the option of mounting an armor plate in the front inside portion of this?: This Condor Chest Set is not capable of holding an armor plate. The little pouch that covers your sternum area is 6.5" x 7", so if you had a plate that small, you would put it in there but it wouldn't offer much protection.
is there a size chart? how big is XL?: Condor does not have a size chart for this vest. When fully adjusted, it will adjust up to 50" chest and waist.
What size ballistic plate does this chest rig fit? 10x12? or 8x10? It does not specify, im buying this chest rig for the purpose of having a valid ballistic plate carrier. WHAT SIZE PLATE does his vest support??: This Condor Modular Chest Set is not capable of holding ballistic plates. It is not a plate carrier.
