"I purchased both a gloss and matte finish set of the streamline style grips. I've also got a set of the sunrise pattern in matte. I tried both and chose to keep the matte finish and give the gloss away. Both sets appear to be well machined, with nice crisp edges on the texture surfaces. I did have to sand all three pairs to fit, as the butt plate overhung the curve of my mainspring housing, and they do not offer an ambi safe version. Sanding took maybe ten minutes a set. I noticed that these grips are substantially thicker than standard; they worked fine for my medium sized hands and single stack pistol. I wouldn't recommend them on a double stack pistol as the grip would get pretty chubby. I chose not keep the gloss because i felt that they became slick within seconds of handling the pistol bare handed. The matte finish offers much more traction and sweat absorption on a bare or gloved hand. I recommend the matte finish and suggest you avoid the polished."

Grippy Golfball is very comfortable

"Everytime someone sees these golfball panels, they ask if they can hold the gun. The texture looks really rough, but the spikes have been smoothed down. They feel very comfortable against the palm while retaining the non-slip security of the traditional golfball pattern. I can shoot all day without feeling like I have been holding sandpapaer. The thumb notch is a Godsend. Accessing the magazine release is a breeze. Additionally,it provides a smooth place for my thumb to rest, keeping the bony part of the knuckle away from the texturing. They have the feel of expensive equipment while costing almost nothing. BUY THEM!"

Great Grips!

"These grips made by Strike Industries are a great product. I ordered the flat BLK flag design grips for a 1911A1. I also put on finger groove grips that really made a somewhat dull looking 1911A1 into a modern looking yet very fuctional firearm. I recommend Strike Industries for grips & the price is good as well."
