Does the inner belt velcro to the outer belt?

It does not, unfortunately. The inner belt and outter belt are attached using Authentic PrymÆ snaps.

Yes, the outer belt has hook lining and the inner belt has loop lining.

How does the slick-stick system attach? There doesn't seem to be any pictures online of how it works.

the SlickStick System is just what 5.11 referes to there molle attachment system as. so instead of calling them molle straps 5.11 calls them the SlickStick System.

Based on what I can see on the size chart you would need the extra small which unfortunately we don't carry.

This belt is a 2 inch belt.

The inner belt is a 1.5 inch width belt for the belt loops but the outer belt is a 2 inch width belt.

yes the belt does adjust using velcro on the interior of the belt.

Is this belt compatible with the Blackhawk molded cordura duty gear?

Yes it will accommodate that duty gear as this item is a 2"belt and that duty gear is set to fit up to a 2.25" belt

at this time we currently do not carry 5.11 belt keepers since they have not been released yet. this is a standard duty belt though so any belt keepers would work just fine.

I have a 38in waist but this time of year it has a tendency to increase. Am i better off adjusting an xl down to 38in or the large up to 40in. And can it even be done?

Firstly, you may want to measure your waist to where you want the belt to sit to be exactly sure that's the waist size you need, but with the information you made available, i think the XL would probably be the better option especially if you plan on wearing layers and load the belt up with gear. I'm not completely sure if you would be able to adjust down to 38 for that, but it may not be necessary. I'll ask other customers who might have some feedback for you on this for sizing.

at this time this item is not available yet and does appear 5.11 has delayed the release date of this item till the end of the year.

The Large is for size 36-38 and the XLarge is for 38-40 so I would match it to the size you wear in 5.11 pants. If that's your pants size without IWB or other belt accessories then I would go with the XLarge.

Will this work as a standard duty belt? I.E. will it be able to accept all my traditional items (holsters, cuff cases, light holster) from my Bianchi duty belt? I ask because I see a vertical stitch at the buckle which would lead me to believe it is permanent and cannot be undone to put items on it.

yes you would be able to attach your items on to this belt. the clip is removable and not stitched in.

Whats the difference between this belt kit and the "Plus" version?

The only difference I can find is that the plus is 2.25 inches wide whereas the regular is 2 inches wide.

at this time we do not have a part number for spare belt keepers you would need to contact 5.11 directly on this matter.

The XL will go up to a 42 inch waist and the 2XL will go up to a 46 inch waist.

the 1.5 refers to the width of the belt. for example a 1.5 belt is one and half inches wide. this belt would be a 2 inch belt though and not a 1.5
