CHARLES C. (5/5)

Best duty pants

"These are so comfortable. The waist is forgiving no matter what I eat. Which reminds me, if anyone knows who shrunk my duty belt, pls advise. Seriously, these pants are the only class B pants that still have rear sap/flashlight pockets. The double use cargo pockets are great. Lift the flap to get to the standard outer cargo. Or use the hidden top zipper to access the very cool inner pocket. Another thing I love about the cargo pockets is they have inner elastic that keeps the pockets from buldging out even when loaded up. Finally, the diamond gusset crotch is really comfortable and makes the pants comfortable even for hours at a time on patrol. If on the fence, these are awesome."

Best Duty Pants

"These are the best duty pants I've ever owned. They are comfortable. They stretch and allow for good movement. They have plenty of storage. They stand up to repeated heavy use and washes."

Q&A

What material are these pants made of?
Hello, The material is 65% Polyester and 35% Cotton.
Are these pants unhemmed? There is no inseam measurement listed.
Yes, these are unhemmed.
Do 5.11 pants in general come a bit bigger / looser? I own an old pair of 5.11's similar to these which are 38 inches for the waist and they're almost too big on me. I've noticed in other brands a 38 fits snugly and in some brands (such as law pro for example) I sometimes need up to a 40. Can I expect the bigger / roomier sizing to be a regular thing with 5.11 across the board?
That's pretty typical with 5.11 pants, they are very generous with the elastic in the waistbands and you can typically stretch 2 sizes from the size you actually ordered with their pants. That's pretty standard across the board with their pants it seems.
What is the best way/method to add the stripping on the side of the pants?
Since we don't offer tailoring or embroidery services on our products, we recommend you speak with a seamstress or tailor regarding adding striping to the pants.
Will these pants come in green for sheriff deputy's to start wearing?
5.11 has communicated that they plan on releasing the Sheriff Green color around Jan/Feb of 2016 time frame. - 09/15/2015
what is the difference between class A and class B pants?
Class B pants have extra pockets as they are more like cargo pants. Those pockets are: Large bellow cargo pockets Secure zip secondary pockets Flashlight pockets at rear thigh The Class A pants do not have them as they are more like dress slacks. The class A pockets are more concealed as they have covert side seam pockets.
What is the inseam before hemming?
Approx 39.5" unhemmed
Do these have knee pad pockets?
Unfortunately these do not
Are these pants double stitched from inside and outside ? Just in case taper them . Thanks
No these are not double stitched.
There is no option for length. What is the length for the size 38 pants?
These come has unhemmed and the length of the 38" waist unhemmed is 38 1/4"
