I was hesitant... at First

"I was hesitant to buy these side panels at first basically just because the plate carrier was super comfortable without them. After some discussion among my friends, we all decided to get side plates for the additional protection. I would have given this a 5 star review, but the side panels sag alot with plates in them. I'm not sure if there's much of a way to fix it, but it just gets kind of annoying when my side plates are flopping around while running or moving quickly."

i have an older generation 5.11 Tac tec Plate carrier, and it has the elastic cummerbund, does this include the replacement cummerbund?: Yes, each pouch has half of the replacement cummerbund inside of it so you can utilize the side panels.
Will these side panels work with the tac lite plate carrier?: Unfortunately we do not see these being able to secure correctly on this carrier as this is meant for the TacTec Carrier http://www.lapolicegear.com/511-56100-tactec-carrier.html
The discription of this purchase says "plate carrier side panels", are you receiving two panles per purchase?: yes these would be sold as a pair so you have one side plate pouch for each side.
Just purchased the vest and side panels and am having no luck finding instructions/video on how to properly install side panels to the vest. You guys have and idea?: This comes with the replacement cummerbund that you would need to utilize with the side panels. I believe they came inside the panel pouches if I remember correctly. You'll have to replace that with the Bungee ones that originally came with the carrier and you should have one for each side. What you would than need to do is take the molle Slick sticks and feed them through those new side panels, looping one through the side panel, than over the cummerbund to sort or weave it through and than secure it in place with the clasp.
What size plate does the 5.11 tac tec side panel use?: They don't specify on 5.11's site nor on the packaging, but here are the internal measurements that I was able to obtain - 8" height x 6.25" width Hope that helps!
Any way you guys can show how these panels fit in with the existing Tac Tec plate carrier system?: at this time we do not have these in stock to show how they fit but on the 5.11 tac tec plate carrier these would just weave through the side cumberbun like any other molle attactment point and would be secure in place.
