Great boots

"I bought mine probably 5yrs ago and they are still in good shape. I live in Tennessee and in the mountains with the snow and mud and they are comfortable. Just wipe them off go again. Love them."

After couple of weeks

"A little snug. I am pretty sure I got wide but they still seem narrow. Insole not as comfortable as previous boots I have purchased by 5.11. Feels like something is sticking up through the sole from first day but cannot locate any sharp object. Not really made for working in all day."

Tear in just a few months

"So I loved these as my feet are always hot, but after about 6 months of use, which is usually a 5 minute walk once an hour then sitting until the following hour, these things split in the same spot on both boots, the knuckle where big toe meets foot. I face 3 stars as they were comfortable and did let heat out, but really looks bad that they started splitting after months of mild use"

Not as comfortable as advertised

"They look good but are not very comfortable. I'm 5'11, 210 and these just don't work comfort wise as advertised. I have a pair of 5.11 hiking boots that I absolutely love but these are very sadly lacking for the price. Wish I could return these. They are true to size. EVERY order from LA police gear is fast and I will continue to order from them."

MID-Boot

"Excellent quality, short break-in (2 weeks)have to wear medium thick sock to avoid instep pain during break -in. Cosmetically beautiful (purchased the black color), I normally wear a 9 1/2 but a10 1/2 seems to be my size with 5.11 boots. I could of went with a 10 however a whole size up feels great. Love the tactical all black boot, fills like a sneaker."
