"So far, nobody that this light shines on, likes the brightness. It does get warm when on the brightest setting, but in the night time, clarity in what you see is a part of the safety of others and yourself. I have used the strobe feature once and the individual looking to damage property, gave up quick and was an easy catch because he could not see where to go. I now have 3 of these because of their high lumens and how they light up the night!!!"

Wowie it is bright

"This flashlight holds the power of the sun in it. It is blinding bright, the beam reaches across parking lots easily. You will not be disappointed with this light. It will absolutely disorient anyone you shine it at and is extremely hard to ignore. The weight is negligible on a duty belt, I have to remove it when I get in a vehicle but it was worth every penny."

Q&A

Is there an available holster for this for a duty belt?: Hello, There is no specific holster made for this item. What you'd have to do is take the measurements of the light (9.53"long, head diameter 2.35", body diameter 1.24") and compare those to holsters you like to see if the holsters can fit this light.
Iím interested in this flashlight however I am having a difficult time finding a case for my duty belt that will hold it. Can you please point me in the right direction.: Hello, Streamlight doesn't actually list a compatible holster. I tried to find another brand, but was also faced with some difficulty. I have sent your inquiry to our previous customers so they can provide personalized feedback and hopefully advise what holsters they use for this specific item.
I know this light has a side switch but does it have a tailcap switch?: No this only has the head mounted on/off button.
