The Nightstick 12V - 36V Direct Wire Kit is recommended for the permanent installation of rechargeable Bayco or Nightstick branded product chargers in commercial first responder vehicles. This kit steps down the voltage from 36v to 12v while protecting the product from startup spikes and unexpected surges. An inline replaceable 3-amp glass fuse provides additional protection from overcharging and wiring damage caused by abrasion. Designed with a standard barrel plug on one end and red and black wires at the other, this direct wire kit includes 2 cushion clamps for professional grade installation.
