Merrell Moab 2 8'' Defense Zip Dark Coyote Boot

"Awesome material, great quality, superb pricing !!!"

— Danny D. (5/5)

1 year in, have held up very well.

"I've waited a while for this review because I wanted to see how they held up. Overall, the durability has been impressive. Working in an engine shop has beaten up other boots pretty easily. The comfort level is spot on too. Spending 9 hours on my feet hasn't been an issue. I would definetely buy these again."

Love my Moabs, Currently have

"Love my Moabs, Currently have the tactical shoe for everyday use, they are just comfortable. And, I like the mid tactical for camping and hiking. Lately I thought I should get a higher boot for better stability while hiking trails. Love them, Easy on and off with the zippered boot. Reminded me of my service boots when overseas. Also, the Vibram TC5+ outsole allows gators for snake and cactus protection. Most boots don’t have that ability due to their design. Good traction but most not designed for gators. That was a plus. Waterproof, crossed streams with no problem. I would not expect to walk in puddles any distance. Overall comfortable and have hiked many miles with no issues. Thank you Merrell & LAPG."

I bought 2 more while on sale!

"I usually wear size 11 wide or 12, the 11.5 fit great. Nice looking, pretty light weight but still excellent ankle support. The protective toe cap seems pretty good, although not green triangle certified. They were a bit stiff when they came out of the box and the arch was a little uncomfortable, but after wearing them a few times the now seem nicely molded. Such a good deal I bought 2 more pairs."

— Jordan T. (5/5)

Solid boot

"Solid boot for the money for sure. Overall they grip nice and my job takes me in the mountains on mile long treks so I was curious how the tread was going to hold up. Overall the tread has held strong and the boots have proven to be capable in multiple terrains. I will say, and it's minor, the boot pull strap on the back broke right out of the box. The composite toe is something I'd also avoid if your job requires you to be outside walking around. Overall a very solid boot and good buy for the money. I'd buy it again for sure, only with a regular toe box this time."

The boot is great, I

"The boot is great, I was unaware of the hard toe and was looking for more of a hiking boot but the quality is excellent. Not to mention the price is unbeatable. I had a great experience with this company and can't wait to make some more orders."

— Travis O. (4/5)

Good boot

"I needed a new pair of composite toe boots for work and for 60 bucks on closeout with a coupon these are great. Ive had Bates, Danners and redwings, and i like these just as much as the rest. They do fit a little big compared to some of the others and i've never been a fan of zipper boots, but i do enjoy these and they do the job well."
