No idea what "Military" Velcro is...but this is "Velcro" Velcro. The 2" is right on the money, each piece had one 'botched' cut side and one mostly straight, mostly square cut side. Longest piece is a 3/16" over 12", other is SHORT a full 1/8" under 12". I'm one of those "one job" guys, so that's a serious deduction. Each piece folded in half to fit the 8" zip lock baggie."
