"I like shoes that are comfortable,look good and that I can wear almost anywhere,specially around water. I bought a few boots that say are waterproof or resistant or repellent. Even those that say waterproof at some point in my walk bothers me cause I can feel getting wet in certain areas. Specially walking my dog. Well today I took him out to what i usually think is a dry spot. He was running around and I called him he was stuck in some dry grass and as I walk to him to get him loose i noticed that was filled up with water from rain plus melted snow. I carefully stepped over what I thought was solid grass and took me a few seconds to free him but after I did,I looked at by boot and I don’t see it. Was submerged in this water and as I’m looking at it I couldn’t believe it. I lift my leg up and the boot was soaked in the water and wet in the outside,but i couldn’t believe my whole foot was dry!!! It was awesome!!! I couldn’t stop smiling, I kept walking and waiting for the moment that I start feeling it,but nope!!! NOTHING!!! Thank you!!!! But now i wonder this merrell are already waterproof,then what else can you do with the Gore-tek? Run over water?! Lol. Thank you again for such a great boot!!!! You have a new fan for life!!"

Not worth buying

"Nice boots but not the durable. The upper toe area developed a hole around where the foot bends, in only about 4 months use. I'd recommend a different brand if your job requires you to simply walk a lot. I got them on a really low sale price, but had I paid regular price I'd be extremely unhappy with the purchase."

"I’m so glad the reviews did not fail me I wear 9-9. 5 in women’s so in men’s I wear 7. 5 the only size available for purchase was a men’s 8 in standard fit let me tell you how perfect the fit is, I have a narrow high arch foot and for my security job I feel so light on my feet and this shoe grips the ground I was wearing under amour shoes prior for 10 months major difference these MOABS got me for life !!!"
