The LA Police Gear Freedom Axe is made from wear and corrosion resistant 3CR13 stainless steel. Thanks for the full tang design, this axe will stand up to anything you can put it through. The included nylon sheath will fit belts up to 1.5" wide and will protect the 3" cutting edge and pick when not in use. The LAPG Freedom Axe has a stonewashed finish, ultra-durable black pakkawood handles, and an etched American Flag on both sides of the head.

"This is a functioning tool. I use it around the camp all weekend. It was the perfect size and weight to make kindling and split small pieces of wood. I was surprised about how sharp it stayed because when it came out of the box it was as sharp as a knife. I was able to cut open packaging and split quarter logs into kindling. This is a real sturdy tool."

Odd but useful bailout bag tool

"We tend to think of the axe as a firefighter tool. But in law enforcement there are odd jobs that come into play. Getting a baby or dog out of a hot car. Urgent forced entry. And starting rescue operations pending fire rescue to name a few. This is light enough to keep in go bag and versatile enough to start a job. After all it is frustrating to have to wait when there is an emergency to deal with."
