Will the LA Police Gear Enforcer L1 Rechargeable Flashlight fit this holder?: I was able to pull one of these from the warehouse and take a look, unfortunately it does not fit. We do have other holsters here: http://www.lapolicegear.com/flashlight-pouch.html I hope this helps!
which flashlight would you recommend for this holder?: There are a wide range of flashlights that will work for this holster. Any light that has a bezel bigger then 1" will work.
What is the diameter of the hole? My flashlight body's diameter is exactly 1 in.: This is a 1" diameter
Will this fit the LA Police Recon flashlight?: This will hold any flashlight just under 1.5î wide. If you're referring to the Recon C1 then yes this will work, if your referring to the Recon Rechargeable Flashlight then this holder is too big.
will this fit a maglite 2D flashlight?: I unfortunately do not have this holder in stock to test fit that for you. I have the maglite 2D but even than i don't think they are packaged in such a way that i would have been able to easily test it for you. It says that it will fit a streamlight stinger, and the stingers range between 1.62" and 1.17" in body diameter, so if your maglite has a body diameter that falls in between there, than i would expect that it would fit fine.
Will my Streamlight Stinger HPL fit in this holder?: Based on what I can find that light will be too large for that holster.
