"This purchase was a replacement for an earpiece that melted in the sun . These earpieces work great and allow you to hear ambient sounds around you. They can be just little stiff when new, but soften up after about a week of normal wear. The medium size works well for me. Bought two so I have a replacement on hand. Fits tight on sound tube and won't fall off. Definitely would recommend."

A must have

"My department gives us the option of using the shoulder mic or the lapel mic. I prefer the lapel mic with the in ear piece. These are comfortable and stay in place during a twelve hour shift. Some of my coworkers complain every once in a while about ear pain. I always tell them to try a different size ear piece, medium seems to be the best size for most if not all the officers."

"These are comfortable but where the tube connects to the earpiece the material is so soft it rips out too easily. I went through 4 of these earpieces in 5 shifts. Not feasible for the price."

Quality control issues

"Well it seems like a basic decent enough ear piece but they sent me one for the wrong ear. Not LAPGs fault at all but with the actual manufacturer. They put a left ear mold in a package labeled right ear. It was so cheap that it's not even worth paying return shipping to send it back."
