The Danner Modern Firefighter 8" Black NMT Work Boot combines the supportive benefits of an alpine hiker with the stringent standards of an NFPA-certified boot. Featuring polishable, full-grain leather and a waterproof Danner Dry lining, the boot is built to live up to the rigorous demands of wildland firefighters. The durable, Vibram S587 outsole is specially designed for oil-and-slip-resistant traction over rugged and high-angle terrain.

- Danner Dry: 100% waterproof barrier allows moisture to escape without letting water in, keeping your feet dry and comfortable all day long. This Danner Dry liner has been tested for body fluid borne pathogen resistance and meets or exceeds ASTM F1671-13 standards.

- Electrical Hazard (EH) Protection: Meets or exceeds ASTM F2413-18 I/75 C/75 EH. Electrical hazard (EH) footwear is manufactured with non-conductive electrical shock resistant soles and heels.
- Removable OrthoLite Footbed: Three layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.
