What is the length of large belt?
Hello, The length of a size large in this belt is 41" - 51"
I get issued a 40 belt, my hips are 34, would you recommend a small or medium? I'm worried if I get a small there will be hardly any Velcro overlap, oppositely with the medium if I pull too tight then the Velcro will pass each other with no overlap
Hello, this one is difficult to answer as I don't know if you are adding duty gear to the belt- that will take more room. Here is some information that should help you make an informed decision. The small belt is approximately 40" in overall length. The tail of the belt has approximately 3.5" of the scratchy side of Velcro. From the end of that inward, there is approximately 18" of the soft side of the Velcro. The medium belt is approximately 47" in overall length. The belt has approximately 3.5" of the scratchy side of Velcro. From the end of that inward, there is approximately 25" of the soft side of the Velcro.
