Great basic hot weather boot

"I was issued Belleville boots very similar to these back in the early GWOT days. I wore out all my issued boots after getting out and I like them enough that I'm still buying them. Like others have said, you need to order a half to full size smaller than you normally wear."

"I wear a 13 E or wide in most boots. I ordered the 13 extra wide because most Wide or E size boots are two narrow. These boots run long and wide. I will keep them and wear thick socks. Haven't worn them long enough to see how well they wear."

Is this the boot that was originally issued with the acu uniform in 2005.
unfortunately we are unable to tell if these are the original boots that were issued in 2005 but these boots are currently ACU approved.

I just received my boots today, wear size 11 and ordered these boots in 10.5 fit is great. My question is have the pull tabs on back of boot intentionally been removed or did I get a pair that are seconds ?? Tabs have been cut and not in a finished way. Still happy with boots but just wondering. Thanks
