I should've bought a lot more of these
"Regret...I bought four pair to try them out when they were on clearance. I have been wearing this type of cargo pants since 2004 with the original 5.11's. Since then, I have tried many different brands trying to find the perfect pair. So far, this is the clear cut winner. The front pockets are easily accessible, something many of the designers seem to get wrong. I have huge hands, these front pockets were designed for quick and easy access, even with a duty belt and holster on. I think it has something to do with the horizontal reinforced bottom of the pocket slash. If you have worn them, you will know what I mean. It is the perfect location to clip your pocket knife to, which I wear every day. It makes the opening so much easier to get in to with your hand, even with thin gloves on. The knees are articulated, and although I would love to see a version of this pant with a double layer knee area, I still can't complain about the ease and comfort of crouching and bending down. The gusseted groin area does not pinch, no matter how I bend/twist/squat. The cargo pockets with the flap over the top isn't as secure as velcro, but there is no annoying noise upon opening and I have not had anything fall out. I really cannot say enough about these pants. They are extremely comfortable and breathe well. I wish I had twenty more. I will just have to wait until they are back in stock. One last note, some of the sizing varies from one pant to another. The waist is a bit tighter in one pair, even though I have the same 34x34 size for all the colors. Not enough to make them uncomfortable, but just enough to notice. I also want to mention that the Vertx brand has some pants in every inch size, that is something that I really like for inside the holster options. I would gladly go to 35x34 for all my pants just for that extra inch of waistband for when you have to be a bit lower in profile."
