The Safariland QUICK-KIT4 includes the QLS 19 Locking Fork and QLS 22L (Extra Locking Feature) Receiver Plate components. Constructed of injection molded nylon, the receiver plate can be attached at different angles according to user preference. The QLS (Quick Locking System) allows for quick transfer of gear between attachment points such as a belt loop, tactical leg shroud or other stable platform. The QLS fork and plate combination passes the Level I Retention pull test. Allows users to rearrange gear quickly and easily without the use of tools.

"Nearly impossible to "unclip" to move from one belt/holster to the other, but I figure that will loosen some with time and really means the retention is there."

If you want fast....don't get the 22L (Quick Kit 4) You want

"The entire QLS line of products is really great. But this particular product has the added security feature that locks the fork into the receiver. It's two plastic tabs that, once engaged, will not let you depress the fork enough to remove it from the receiver plate without also lifting the sides up an over the two tabs. I personally like this feature, as it prevents the forks from accidentally disengaging, if you bump something (or someone) and I do not remove my holster from my duty belt during the day. I do, however, use the same holster on another belt that just has another medium-ride belt loop and a magazine carrier for the range. I use a non-locking plate (QLS 22) for that one. If you want to be able to quickly and easily swap holsters and other gear around without having to fuss with it, get the QLS 22 plates without the extra locking feature, and you'll have no issues whatsover."

Good, but really trick

"I read in the internet that this 22L had a extra security level. Well, it has, and it is a very strong security level. After using a couple shifts, I decided to cut off the pins that provided the extra security level , because it was really dificult to change it from leg shroud to MOLLE vest. In my opinion, if you need quickly change, or if you disconect many times per day, this 22L is not for you. Excellent overall quality, as described. Sorry for the bad english."
