"This light is just what I needed for my chest pocket. The clip is reasonably secure, and the white light is not so bright as to be uncomfortable for checking pupils. The red task light is easy on the night vision, and you can aim it. As a beacon or marker, I think it would be less effective than one of the brighter strobes or LEDs."
