Home run!!! Love these boots!!!!!!

"I use to wear 5.11 tactical boots years ago for my security job, but I switched to original swat as they were cheaper, but yet the quality was superb for the price. I can't speak for 5.11 tactical quality today, but years ago I was paying $160ish for a pair of the original XPRT boots and I did like them. The original swats I switched to were the ORIGINAL S.W.A.T. CLASSIC 9" BLACK SIDE-ZIP SAFETY PLUS BOOT which had the anti-puncture lenzi plate, the composite toes and side-zip. I absolutely loved those boots and had 4 pairs, 3 of which I wore out over the years. The nice thing was at the time I got a deal and only paid around $85 a pair for them. As for these ORIGINAL S.W.A.T METRO AIR 5" BLACK SIDE-ZIP SAFETY BOOT, I got a heck of a deal and only paid $57 a pair. I ordered 6 pairs for myself and 4 for family!! There was a closeout sale and with a 25% discount on top of that, I got one sweet deal!!! I wish I had ordered a day or two later, as the price dropped a little lower and I could have got them for $45 a pair, but regardless I can't complain. I bought 2 pairs for my dad and some for my brother and friend. This model is just as nice as the other original swats I owned, although with slightly different features. I usually go for boots that are not water proofed from factory (I silicon spray myself/I swear they breath a little better) and have a composite toe. There are models with bloodborne resistance, antimicrobial coating, anti-puncture features, etc so look around and look for something you specifically want. They fit like a glove and look like very little if almost no break in. I wear 11.5 mens wide tennis shoes and personally find original swat boots to run slightly smaller, so I go with a mens 11 wide for the perfect fit. The factory must be good at keeping consistent quality as the 11W I bought years ago are just as perfect fitting as the ones I bought now. I plan on buying original swat boots for the rest of my life. Glad LAPG put them on closeout and offered additional discounts...I plan on being a repeat customer knowing I got such a good deal, as now I feel like throwing more business their way to say thank you. Thanks!!! :)"
