Would you consider making a no patch version of this and your recon softshell?

Unfortunately that is not in the works at this time. we may come out with something like that in the future however it will be at least 6 months out.

Two things, how would you describe the carbon color, and if I wear an extra large, should I order my normal size? Thank you.

The carbon color is a medium to dark grey and we have heard these run a little small so either your normal size if you want a snug fit or a size larger if you want some moving room.

Is there a size chart I am missing somewhere for your LAPG jackets (Recon and Rendition)? I'm concerned for arm and torso lengths as I am a tall guy (6'-4", 240lb).

Is your Carbon color anything similar to Wolf Grey?

Carbon is much darker than wolf grey.

I like Both jackets, will you be offering them in a dark earth or tan color in future?

Can you please tell me what the difference is between the Rendition Jacket and the Recon Jacket? I really like the looks of these and will be ordering one, but I want to make an informed decision. Thanks, Chris

The Rendition jacket is a lightweight fleece lined jacket with patch panels and zip pockets on both sides of the jacket. The Recon jacket also has the patch panel and pocket but it is only on the left arm. The Rendition jacket has a Adjustable pull-cord and cord lock waistband along with Headphone pass-throughs located in both chest pockets and both arm pockets, Kangaroo pouch back pockets ,Elbow pads and Zippered arm pit vents, while the Recon jacket does not. The recon jacket has Hand warmer pockets and a Hidden zippered inner compartment on left hand side which is not available on the Rendition jacket. Also, the Recon has elastic cuffs and the Rendition has Hook and loop cuff tabs.

Are there handwarmer pockets in this jacket as well as the chest pockets?

There are not hand warmer pockets, only chest pockets.

Will this soft shell be roomy enough to fit over a mid layer like a fleece jacket?

You would need to order at least one size up as we have heard that these tend to be a snug fit.

No, this jacket does not have sherpa fleece lining.

Saw this and am in the market for a new rain/wind shell. Please add interior pocket layout images, temperature info Looks like a good contender in this area BUT: Needs a removable/stowable hood for daily utility with cover for rain. Being able to do stow OR remove the hood would be ideal and jump ahead of the competition. A shell only version is critical for an all-weather in a layering system. I do NOT want a lining in a jacket I need for rain/wind protection when I am working up a sweat. I've been cross country skiing at 20F and had to strip down to a base layer and will always pick a pure shell or shell with zip out liner for any functional work/sports wear. The slash pockets are great (waist belts, harnesses, and seat belts always block off traditional pockets anyway - but handwarmer pockets would beat the competition). Larger color selection (olive/coyote minimum)

Unfortunately we do not offer that service at this time as we do not have a seamstress on staff.

Any plans to offer this in navy? I notice you really don't offer much in the way of jackets in navy. I prefer your gear because it's affordable enough that when I destroy it on the job my family doesn't suffer when I have to replace it. I feel like I can always depend on it both from a performance and economical standpoint.

Good question, I don't know of any plans to carry new colors at this point. If we get enough requests then we will definitely look at getting some other colors. I hope this helps!
