Tactical pants had a long history of being baggy and oversized pants with cargo pockets. Thankfully, they have come a long way and numerous innovations continue to improve the pants with every new style. One of the latest such styles from LAPG is the Battle Rattle Stretch Tactical Pant. The Battle Rattle packs in all the features you demand in a high-end tactical pant. The 13-pocket configuration means this is an excellent choice for duty or tactical use. These pants work just as well as a uniform pant or as a comfortable range pant.

The thoughtful construction and design of this pant along with the amazing stretch rip-stop fabric make this one of the best tactical pants ever made. The tuxedo elastic waistband gives you extra comfort but maintains a professional appearance. Some other nice touches include pass throughs on the cargo pockets, a hidden zipper pocket in the front right pocket, and did we say 13 pockets?

Reviews

Excellent pants.

"If you like some other brands strike pants, but want better pocket layout, deeper front pockets, better rear mag pockets and sturdier material with the same waist look no further. They are great pants that hold up really well, this is a 2 year later review and i havn't had a single snag, loose thread or anything. There is on caveat however, they are more of an athletic fit. If you are even slightly thicker in the legs order a longer inseam by one size. I usually wear 30 but in these pants 32 is the ticket so they stay down on my boots."

Great Tactical Pants

"Great quality pant. Only qualm is size of cargo pockets. I can barely fit a pair of leather search gloves in the pocket. Overall the pants are amazing quality and comfort. And the amount of small and hidden pockets are a bonus."

Darren H. (5/5)

Like the pants, not as

"Like the pants, not as well as the operator pants. These ones didn't fit like the operators, and I believe I prefer the zipper on the cargo pockets over the velcro."

Malachi H. (4/5)

Fits great and performs above

"Fits great and performs above expectations especially when comparing to other brands. Makes me consider jumping ship and making this my brand for all go to options. Definitely worth the purchase and will purchase other colors soon."

Matthew W. (5/5)

Fantastic duty pants

"I consider these a better version of the stryke pants. Very comfortable, several multi use pockets and the added knee pad option is pretty nice too. Shipping is pretty quick and the customer service is 10/10! Just make sure to order a size larger than you would normally get."

Gage L. (5/5)

POCKETS! POCKETS! AND MORE POCKETS!

"SorryI can actually carry everything I desire on a daily basis with these and still have room for more if I feel the need"

Donnie B. (5/5)

Battle Rattle Pants

"Pants are great, company honors there product warranty. Only problem I had is with a tool pocket on left thigh. Manufacturer flaw easy missed except by the wearer/user of the pants/pocket. New pants and the replacement pair had same defective. Picture shows new pairs the light doesn't fit, but my original old pair fits perfectly. The pocket is usable just not the way I use it. Still the Pants are comfortable and company is good to there customers."

Anthony W. (3/5)

Perfect!

"Best Tac pants I’ve bought. Comfortable, not too high waisted, and durable enough for any job. I love the fit, cut, and flexibility!"

Travis C. (5/5)

John W. (5/5)

"Works well but a little loose fitting down the legs"

Q&A

I wear 30 waist do I need larger ones for CCW
With the material make up of the pants and how they were constructed, ordering true to your size should work well with CCW.
How true is the fit?
We aim for true to size and getting really good feedback on them being true to size. If you carry CCW and in between size, it may be good to size up to account for that to be safe.
Is there any possible way to get a size 28x30 or 28x29?
We don't have those size options available, apologies. You may be able to get them hemmed by a seamstress/tailor.
I can’t tell the difference in color between the od green and ranger green from the pictures Is ranger green lighter or darker than od green? Thanks.
Ranger Green is darker and grayer
Don't see any 46 or larger waist sizes, do you offer that now?
Not at the moment, apologies.
Are the cargo pockets on these smaller, bigger, the same size as the atlas pants?
They are very close in size.
Two questions; 1) can I get them with a 30” inseam unhemmed? 2) Is the button in front a button or snap?
Great questions. 1. We don't currently have a 30" that is unhemmed. 2. it is a button
I normally wear 35x32 Will the 36x30 bee too large or should I order the 34x30
I would choose 36x32 in this scenario.
How much does the waistband expand, if I order a 32 waist will it expand to a 34 or is the fit exact. I don't want to order a 34 and find out it is too loose
You should be able to get at least an inch or two out of the stretch out of them.
When will you get larger waist sizes? LAPG used to be my go to place for larger sizes but everything that has recently been released stops at size 44. I've had to go with other companies now. The big guys need love too.
Hello, We do apologize, I do know we are manufacturing more larger sizes. I will pass this on to our developers.
these look great - how does the waistband sizing go compared to other LAPG pants? I would normally take a 32 but with LAPG i have always had to go 34 with shorts or pants - 32 always too tight, 34 fits, but always needs a belt.
Hello, The waist band compared to other LAPG pants are the same. I would suggest to stick to the 34.
