Tactical pants had a long history of being baggy and oversized pants with cargo pockets. Thankfully, they have come a long way and numerous innovations continue to improve the pants with every new style. One of the latest such styles from LAPG is the Battle Rattle Stretch Tactical Pant. The Battle Rattle packs in all the features you demand in a high-end tactical pant. The 13-pocket configuration means this is an excellent choice for duty or tactical use. These pants work just as well as a uniform pant or as a comfortable range pant. 

The thoughtful construction and design of this pant along with the amazing stretch rip-stop fabric make this one of the best tactical pants ever made. The tuxedo elastic waistband gives you extra comfort but maintains a professional appearance. Some other nice touches include pass throughs on the cargo pockets, a hidden zipper pocket in the front right pocket, and did we say 13 pockets?

"Love the way the pants feel. Not too baggy, not too tight, perfect fit. I'm 6'1", 190 lbs. The only reason it didn't get a five star is because the pants themselves don't have any type of shirt gripper, so at work I'm always having to tuck in the back of my shirt. The pants are of good

"The pants are of good quality for the first time wearing them. They washed and dried easily and fit the same as new. I waited several weeks to order because my size was not available, so I ended up ordering a longer inseam and paid to have them shortened to fit. The waist with the stretch felt a little big for me, but stills works. Operationally, the have been great and I'm still looking for ways to use each pocket."

Are you wearing women's pants?

"These pants are great out of the bag, first use. Then, after time and a few washes later, they are ready for the trash. If you have slightly larger thighs, you will notice they tighten up around them. This makes them uncomfortable and also limits your ability to put things in the cargo pockets. Additionally, they bind up in the upper thighs and make you look entirely unprofessional. Twice, I have been asked if I am wearing women's pants, and they are too tight and disproportionate. If you wonder, I always wash cold and line dry. These are a don't buy."

"The order never arrived. Customer service was very poor. After an extended amount of time a refund was provided after it was determined the order was lost by shipper. Not a good experience shopping at LAPG!"

Not a fan

"Nice pants but the fit is a bit wonky on me. I wear a 38 jean so I got these in a 38. With the elastic in the waistband, they fit a little loose, which is fine but they are tight in the thigh like they are for guys that missed leg day. Because of this, it makes the inseam a little short when I sit down. I'm going to go back to the Operator six pocket pants."

Excellent pants.

"If you like some other brands strike pants, but want better pocket layout, deeper front pockets,better rear mag pockets and sturdier material with the same waist look no further. They are great pants that hold up really well, this is a 2 year later review and i havn't had a single snag, loose thread or anything. There is on caveat however, they are more of an athletic fit. If you are even slightly thicker in the legs order a longer inseam by one size. I usually wear 30 but in these pants 32 is the ticket so they stay down on my boots."

Q&A

How does the fit on these compare to the LAPG Men's ACP Cordura Stretch Atlas Combat Pants? Trying to see if I need to order the same size (32x32)
Would suggest ordering the same size to start. Besides there being a difference in fabric and fit, they will be similar. The ACP will be a bit roomier in the thigh/calf areas.
I wear 30 waist do I need larger ones for CCW
With the material make up of the pants and how they were constructed, ordering true to your size should work well with CCW.
How true is the fit?
We aim for true to size and getting really good feedback on them being true to size. If you carry CCW and in between size, it may be good to size up to account for that to be safe.
Is there any possible way to get a size 28x30 or 28x29?
We don't have those size options available, apologies. You may be able to get them hemmed by a seamstress/tailor.

I normally wear 35x32 Will the 36x30 bee too large or should I order the 34x30
I would choose 36x32 in this scenario.
How much does the waistband expand, if I order a 32 waist will it expand to a 34 or is the fit exact. I don't want to order a 34 and find out it is too loose
You should be able to get at least an inch or two out of the stretch out of them.
When will you get larger waist sizes? LAPG used to be my go to place for larger sizes but everything that has recently been released stops at size 44. I've had to go with other companies now. The big guys need love too.

these look great - how does the waistband sizing go compared to other LAPG pants? I would normally take a 32 but with LAPG i have always had to go 34 with shorts or pants - 32 always too tight, 34 fits, but always needs a belt.
