Kershaw Blur Folding Knife

The Kershaw Blur comes equipped with a large, slightly recurved blade that's great for multitasking. The shape offers both slicing and piercing capabilities and the high-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless blade steel offers corrosion resistance and hardness. The Blur has a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated blade for extra corrosion resistance and enhanced looks.

The Blur features handles with Trac-Tec grip-tape handle inserts for an extremely solid grip. The handle itself is durable 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, sometimes described as aircraft aluminum since it is a common material used for aircraft fittings. But the main point is that it's lightweight, extremely durable, and when anodized accepts a dye so we can create colored handles that are scratch resistant and extra tough.

For easy one-handed opening, the Blur is equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening. A short push on the thumbstud overcomes the resistance built into the torsion bar in the SpeedSafe mechanism. The SpeedSafe takes over and the blade moves out of the handle quickly and easily. One-handed opening is easy with SpeedSafe. The pocket clip is reversible for your choice of tip-up or tip-down carry. There's even a pre-drilled lanyard hole.

The BlackWash finish(1670BW) gives the blade an already-broken-in look like a favorite well-worn pair of jeans. The coating provides an extra measure of protection for the metal, and the BlackWash helps hide any additional scratches you may put on the knife during normal use.

The Stonewashed blade finish(1670NBSW and 1670S30V) gives the surface a desirable roughened or scuffed look that helps hide scratches and fingerprints.

The Kershaw Tanto Blur(1670TBLKST) offers all the great grip advantages of the other Blurs on the force, but this one offers tactical styling with a modified tanto blade with partial serration. With its angled shape, the tanto blade provides additional piercing power to penetrate tough materials. The unique shape puts more steel behind the point to support its piercing tasks. We've also found that the short front edge is particularly handy for opening boxes. For razor sharpness, Kershaw hollow grinds the edge.
The S30V Blur(1670S30V) has a stonewashed finish for a roughed-up, non-reflective look. The S30V powdered stainless steel blade is more dense and fine-grained, enabling it to take and hold an extremely fine edge for a longer period of time. The steel exhibits excellent toughness, wear resistance and hardness.
