Sizing issues !!

"My first Belleville Boot's. Know idea what's going on with the sizes ? I'm an 11 and ordered the 10. 5 in regular width, as everyone said they run big ! Thankfully I didn't order a full size down. The Boots fit so tight I could only wear a very thin sock ! I've always worn regular as I have narrow feet. I needed an insulated gore-tex boot for work and didn't want to spend 300-400 for the Insulated Rocky Boots. I don't know how anyone can't get their foot in these boot as their super narrow, same with getting the boots off. They did keep my feet dry and warm in the snow. I'm hoping these boots breakin and stretch a little. Very bizarre about the sizing with Belleville boots. Next time I'll just bite the bullet and get the Rocky SV2 insulated Gore-tex boots. Hopefully I get two Winters out of these. Three stars because of the sizing issues."
