Pasta isn't supposed to be "crunchy. " :/

"Decided to try these, to see if I'd want to have some on hand for camping, hiking, or "just in case. " Maaaaaan, am I glad I tried them first at home, on a random Saturday, instead of waiting until I was in more dire circumstances. While the prep is easy enough, and the final prepared "meal" smelled appetizing, the actual consumption was a problem. I reckon its got to be the "vegetables" mixed in . . . but something was "crunchy," and not in a good way. If I'm eating a pasta, with a tomato-based sauce, I'm not expecting to be getting crunchy bits in each bite. It was very off-putting, and I couldn't get more than three or five bites into before I had to stop. It felt like I was eating bugs that had snuck into the bag somehow. But since you have to buy these in minimums of two, I guess I'll try to find a desperate homeless person to give the other one too; maybe they'll be able to chew the crunchiness down better than I could."
