Palm defender
"I carry a firearm every day, but my palm defender is a part of my self defence everyday carry. Only had to use it once but stopped me from having to fight a man half my age [I'm 65] and instead of pulling my gun. I took it out of my pocket that I have it with a pocket clip and he said flashlight? And I shot just above his sunglasses he was wearing and then in his mouth , He wiped his mouth and turned away without saying anything and walked away. Saw him the next day and he was like nothing happened and happy to see me, I just did my job and left without saying anything to him. He was probably happy that no one knew what happened as we were alone at the time."

Perfect size
"I have the Palm Defender on my keychain, but it's so small that my hand nearly covers the hole that the spray will come out of -- and, in a high-stress, think-fast situation, I think it would be hard to get the hand position just right. My next purchase was the Street Defender, which i carry in my pocket unattached to anything. It is the largest of the series, and so delivers the most content, and is also the biggest impact weapon of the three. I carry it almost daily at work in a place where other SD devices would get me into trouble. The only downside is the size as it rides in my pocket. It prints as a strange-looking cylinder that tends to turn horizontal in the pockets of my trousers. It can be carriedin a waistband, but isnt 100% secure; it would be grea if someone would create an IWB holster for these things!
Anyway, on to the item at hand, the Key Defender. I got it for my wife, who is resistant to most things self-defense related (she places higher importance on convenience and aesthetics than on preparing for emergencies), but she is aware of assaults and meth busts around the town where we live and work, partly because I share information with her about street crimes around our area, which i get from sources like CrimeMapping dot com. Inasked her if she would be interested in carrying pepper spray for the first time in her life, and I told her that, with these Asp Defenders, I have never had a problem with leakage or unintentional discharge, even thou i pocket carry them daily. I showed her the big size and the little size, andsuggested tha i order the middle size to try. If she didn't like it, I would be happy to put it into my rotation.
The Key Defenderarrived quickly, and i put it on her key chain. My wife is someone who would not hesitate to object and remove the thing if she didnt like it, but it's been about a month now and she hasnt taken it off her keychain. I like the size myself, too, and will probably get one in this ize at some point, because I think it will be a better size for pocket and waistband carry."
