Best "boots" I've ever owned

"After a motorcycle wreck about 5 years ago that resulted in having a plate and screws on my right fibula, good quality boots and shoes are a daily must. I am overweight and doing everything I can to reverse it through diet and exercise. I walk 2-4 miles almost every day through the neighborhood circle drive which is mostly uphill, and I had been wearing a pair of New Balance shoes. My legs and feet were always very sore early on into the walk, so I decided to wear these, after buying them with the intention of just being nice boots, and I was blown away by the difference. They immediately doubled my time and distance, and made my walk so much more enjoyable and productive. I generally like to wear tall boots because of the support they offer, but I'm trying to train the muscles to stand on their own without it, and these boots are perfect. They are very comfortable as well as durable. They just don't wear out. Say what you want about them being "tacticool", but they're damned high quality. If you need a pair of boots for walking long distances daily, these are the boots for you. Absolutely worth every penny. Will be buying another pair or two."
