These are not a surplus item. This is also the same modeled bags, we have not seen a new version of the pack come out yet.
Do you have a rear view. Since it does not come with carry straps, be nice to see what is on the rear to connect to.
We do not have a rear pictures but the back is simple with no attachments on the back
