Q&A

Is the green color their TDU Green?
Hello, yes, the one listed as just "green" as opposed to Ranger Green is their TDU Green.
Is there a ranger green shirt to go along with these pants?
I'm very sorry, but I'm not familiar with 5.11 offering a Ranger Green Shirt. This question would be best for the manufacturer directly. here's a link to the manufacturer's contact page: https://www.511tactical.com/customer-service/contact
Does the Teflon treatment make these pants water resistant?
Hello! Yes, these are treated with Teflon to make them water resistant to repel stains, soil and moisture.
Are these pants a cotton / poly blend?
These are made from 7.2 oz. Flex-Tacô mechanical stretch canvas
TDU green, how does that compare to OD green?
Very similar to other brands OD Green.
How do these fit? My normal jean, slack, khaki, etc. size is a 34x30 and it's more of a tailored fit. Not loose/baggy, but not slim fit. I have a few pairs of the 5.11 Stryke pants and a 34x30 fit big on me in the waist, seat, and thigh so I size down to a 32x30 and they fit great; a lot like how I prefer my pants to fit. How do the Apex pants compare? Thanks!
These are similar to the Stryke style just not as baggy. We suggest going with the 32x30
What's the thigh room like in these compared to the Ridgeline, Stryke and TacLite Pros?
This is one of those subjective questions that I'll have to check with other customers that have purchased these to see if they have noticed any differences between those. If you need specific measurements for a specific size, please resubmit and I can see if we have those in stock to measure out for you.
Are the waist sizes true, or are they oversized like the jean cut pants?
These should fit pretty true to size. I always recommend that customers grab a few pairs of their pants and take the average - that is the size you will want to order.
Ok I have read reviews and a few say the Apex pants run a little bigger than the Stryke pants, than a few say they run a little more snug than the Stryke pants. I wear a 40/32 in the 5.11 tac pro pants and a 40/32 in the tru-spec pants (of course the 5.11 tac pros run a little more snug). I ordered a pair of 40/32 Stryke pants and they were a little snug. Do I need to order a 42/32 in the Apex pants or will I be ok ordering a 40/32 in them? Thanks
Going up in the waist will give you a little more leg room yes but you will also have extra at the waist. If you carry IWB that may not be an issue but otherwise they may not fit properly if you go up a size.
