Q&A

How does this pouch actually attach to a belt? Also, would this be a good pouch for carrying a pair of Vortex Diamondback binoculars, or do you recommend a different thigh rig pouch?
The vertical strap attached to the D-Ring goes around the belt and then there is a strap that goes around the thigh. This could hold binoculars however you would loose space for medical supplies.
Will the magazine pouches accommodate AK Pmags?
Great question, I was able to pull one of the leg rigs and a couple AK mags to try it out. They fit well. There is a trick to it though, about halfway down the inside are a couple elastic straps that make it difficult to worm the mags into place. The second time you put mags in it becomes a fluid motion. I hope this helps!
Is this bag compatible with the Zak Tool Tactical Belt Clip System? What are the overall dimensions? Thanks
Yes this will fit on the Zak Tool Clip. The approx dimensions are: 9"H x 8"L x 3.5"W(when full)
Does the D ring detach from the bag so that you can wear the D ring on your belt and attach pouch when needed?
Yes, I had this pulled from our warehouse to check and can confirm that the D ring is removable and you will be able to just have the D ring with belt attachment like you explained.
Where is the storage for AR magazines located? The description says it can hold 2 magazines, but I don't see any images that depict the magazine location.
The picture with the bag open, last picture, with the two red bungees. This is where the magazines will fit.
Is the D ring that holds the pouch and belt strap together plastic or metal ?
According to 5.11, the D-Ring is in fact made of metal.
