The Condor Cyclone Plate Carrier is designed for first responders to carry plates. The Cyclone accepts up to 10.25 inch x 13.25 inch plates via easy access pull down flaps. The Cyclone also features padded shoulders and adjustable cummerbund for added comfort. Heavyweight MOLLE on the front and back along with hook and loop MOLLE provide lots of space on the vest for modular attachments and patches.

"Now that I've had trained and had the carrier for a while now, cummberbund is cheaply made and needs upgrading as well and the carrier as a whole doesn't breathe well after prolonged use. Had to tighten shoulder straps all the way down to ride over vitals. Half decent for the price but ultimately after upgrading your next to the price of a Crye JPC."

Faulty stitching

"I bought 2 packs about a year and a half ago and they are still going strong. I use them almost every day and wash them every week. They still fit great and haven't even begun to sag around the collar or shirt tail like most name brands. No holes or tears either. They've stayed really white and soft. I highly recommend them."

Nice carrier for the money

"Great flashlight for a small flashlight...heck it is a great flashlight for any size! The different light settings give you a good variety. The 960 lumens is like a wall of light for added security when I'm walking BoB. Liked it so much I have 2 and bought 4 of them for gifts. The price is great you can't get an other 960's even from the same manufacture for a better price. Easy to recharge but you don't need too very often even at high setting."

Great lightweight carrier!

"I had recently bought one of the LAPG L2 lights, and found that it really went through batteries fast. I ordered the Fenix UC35 with rechargeable battery. As soon as I got it, I plugged it in to fully charge the battery. The red light was on for about 2 hours, then I saw I had a green light. I used it extensively that first night, trying out the high setting, finding it fully lit areas approx. 80 yards away. The low setting is good for close illumination, but I found the second setting up from that is best for all around use.....The next morning I thought I should put it on the charger again and was surprised to find I was still getting a green light!"

Q&A

I can't find any 6x10 soft armor inserts online to fit this... Would a 6x8 be ok and not shift around?: Hello, I don't know that these would shift, as it would sit at the bottom of the pouch with the room on top. I believe that the top 2 inches above that plate would be the "exposed" area, not that it would shift side to side. Honestly, I think it would be best to inquire with the manufacturer to ensure. What denier is this carrier?: 500D Cordura material.
What is the dimensions of the velcro?: I was able to pull one from the warehouse and the bottom 2 rows of the hook and loop MOLLE is 9 inches and the top row is 6 inches.
It states that this carrier will also hold soft armor panels, how does that work and will it fit all types of soft armor panels say my Extreme or Point Blank soft armor panels?: these carrier can accept soft armour as it does have the pockets and wrap around to accept most styles. we can not say for sure if it will work with your exact armour as this is a universal design so it is designed to work with most all soft armour panels.
Is there a ETA when this product will be back in stock, The tan one to be exact: I do not see any orders placed for this carrier as of recent. We do not place orders with the manufacture unless we have customer orders. If you did not place an order with us, we suggest you do so we can get the item in for you. Once an order is placed, the ETA is about 2 months.
What sizes do your vests come in ? I wear a 3X size jacket.: This is considered a "one size fits all". This will adjust to fit a wide range of body types.
Is there an interior strap to securely hold the plates like there is on the Condor Quick Release Carrier?: No there are no interior straps to hold the plates.
Is the strap over the collar in the back an actual drag strap stitched into the body of the vest or is it an equipment hanging strap that's tacked in place?: That is a functional drag handle.
What size chest and or waist will this vest fit..I'm a 34-36 waist..will this item fit?: This will be able to fit your chest.
I understand this will fit side soft armor that is 6x10. Is it possible to fit 6x6 square hard plates in the pocket since the sizing is roughly the same?: Yes this will fit 6 x 6 plates just fine.
Is it one size fits all?: yes this item is Adjustable in girth and height
can the, AR500 Armor Kangaroo Pouch M4 Magazine be Inserted in the kangaroo front pouch?: I don't have this carrier in stock to test fit that for you. But i'll check with other customers that have purchased this to see if they have any feedback for you. From what I can tell, it looks like it would work.
