One of the best

"I have been using streamlight for over 25 years this light is exactly what it is advertised to be duty ready."

A very good flashlight but with a warning

"This is a very good and very bright flashlight...not disappointed at all in that regard. Well made, tough, and very bright. My only warning on this light is that the rubber sleeve that covers the shaft of the light is a little long on the light end of the flashlight. Streamlight really needs to trim this rubber back even just a sixteenth of an inch. When I first put batteries into the flashlight I thought that I got a defective flashlight because it wouldn't turn on. I put fresh batteries into the the light that I had (the flashlight comes with two batteries but I thought maybe they were dead...they weren't). It turns out that the rubber sleeve on the shaft of the light was too long, stopping contact from being made with the batteries. When I figured this out I really cranked down twisting the flashlight together and everything then worked fine. I'm a big fella, 6'5" and 265lbs who works out regularly and I REALLY had to crank down to screw things together tight enough for the batteries to make contact. I think that a woman, older person, or smaller person would not have had the strength to make the flashlight work. Maybe I just got one that was a little more difficult, however, if you buy this flashlight and think that you got a defective one, don't be fooled...you just have to be able to really tighten things down after installing the batteries. Otherwise though, it is a superb light. Without this rubber sleeve problem I would have given it five stars."
