Had and used one for years, best flashlight ever.

"I have had and used one of these for over 10 years. Odd shape but perfect design. I use mine every night, set on red, to read in bed and not wake my wife as well as general use. It has tactile markings and an attached tail cap so you can change the batteries in the dark. For aircraft pilots, no chance of accidentally turning on the white light and blowing out your night vision. The waterproof switch on mine is as good as new in spite of daily use. The light levels are easy to use. Mine also has infrared that is not useful for me. The AA batteries last a long time, I change mine every couple of months."

"Doesn't take up much space on the plate carrier. Turn the color selection knob for desired color, then set it and forget it. Unless the knob gets involuntarily moved, whatever color (white, red, blue or IR) you have it set for, is what comes on when you touch power button. Awesome feature for tactical situations."
