Safer during one handed use

"This switching mechanism makes one-handed use of my duty pistol safer and more functional. The light can be activated in intermittent on or strobe modes simply by squeezing your middle finger a little tight, leaving your trigger finger indexed as it should be, safely along the frame or slide and free to engage the trigger if necessary. This simplifies one-handed operation. Although constant on cannot be activated using this switch, this is not a drawback and is actually preferred. The one slight drawback to this switch is that it enlarges the dimensions of the trigger guard, albeit very slightly, enough to make holster fit tight or, in some cases, unusable. There is no issue in my duty holster but I must change out my light for one without this switch when wearing my administrative paddle holster. A minor drawback and still a very worthwhile accessory for duty use."

Pretty neat addition for a Streamlight TLR1

"Wasn't sure that this was going to work like I wanted it to, but yes, it really does work well. Plus you can still use the paddles if you like. Awesome addition to my work gun. Plan on getting another for my back up gun."

Pressure Switch Works Great

"This switch is GREAT. I was never one to like pressure switches, that is until I was introduced to the DG switch for the X300 in the academy. I fell in love with them, and then I wondered what I could carry off duty that would also accommodate a pressure switch? I currently carry the M and P Compact with a Trijicon RMR, and Streamlight TLR-1 with a pressure switch, inside a TREX- Arms IWB AND OWB holsters, and I just have to say the combo is great!! The switch itself doesn’t rub off like the DG switch does, it’s more bulky than the DG switch however, and the button itself that your middle finger applies pressure to is more rounded. But over all, it’s a huge advantage and great combo."

THE way to run a pistol-mounted light!

"In most scenarios where I will need to use a gun and light at the same time I will likely only have one hand free and will need to be able to operate trigger and light. Having the light switch under the middle finger of the gun hand is the perfect solution for this setup. The fit to the pistol is perfect and the switch adds minimal bulk to the bottom of the triggerguard - there are precious few solutions for a pistol light that is intuitive to operate with one hand - and the price point of a TLR-1 with the contoured remote is hard to beat."

Great Intuitive Add On To Your TLR

"I love this add on to my TLR1s light. We recently started a night time training at our local range and I found out that I needed a better way to engage my weapon light. This is it for me. Just squeeze a little tighter with my middle finger when gripping the gun and you instantly have light. Does not change your grip much and it works with both of my light bearing holsters really well. Highly recommend if you need a weapons mounted light."

Great switch till it breaks

"I love the fit and operation of this switch. Unfortunately they break fairly easy. I have seen three broken in the last year."
