"These sneakers are very very similar to the 5. 11 Norris sneakers. I went through 3 pairs of those at a huge discount and it was still not worth it given they only lasted 3-4 months. The part where my toes bents always fails and develops a hole every single time. It is frustrating given the rest of the sneakers are still in great shape. So far these already beat the Norris in that department and worth the price i got them for. Only thing negative about these is that they do run big. I need to order a 1 to ¹/2 size smaller next time."

"If you like leather skate style shoes, these are really comfortable, durable shoes. I wear a 9. 5 in every shoe brand, but these run a full size too large, I had to order an 8. 5 for a proper fit. (somebody at LAPG is compensating I think, ;-))"

"These are great sneakers! Actually, they look much nicer than your typical sneaker---the suede leather is very nice. The sizing was accurate for me and the shoes are very comfortable. They appear well made, only time will tell. Roomy toe box and I am guessing a more or less neutral heel to toe configuration(my preference!). Highly recommend. . . will be buying another pair."

Just As Others Have Noted

"I have them in green. I've worn them a few times, but not on duty (black is required). The first time I wore them, they felt like I was walking barefoot on concrete. I put in a work-level insert, and that solved the issue. I wore them again with jeans for a family outing. I found them hot, heavy, and nowhere near comfortable. The ankle protection and support are really the only good things I can say about these shoes. The flat soles make them unsuitable as walking shoes, and you end up shuffling more than walking. Now, they sit forlornly on the floor of my duty closet. My son, a sheriff's deputy, wears greenies, so I offered them to him since he wears the same size shoes as I do. He tried them on and (somewhat impolitely) declined."

My new go to shoes!

"I love these shoes. I've taken to wearing them in place of boots lot. If I don't need steel toes, these are my "go to" shoes for work. Flat sole, grippy rubber, looks good with almost everything, and inexpensive to replace. What more could you want? I'm ordering another pair right now, so I have a different color."

Possibly the best shoes I have ever worn.

"I honestly cannot say enough good things about these sneakers! They take a beating. I will make one suggestion if you buy these, get a shoe horn because the cloth at the heel is about the only part that breaks down on these shoes. They are comfortable for a good hike, all day in a kitchen and I have yet to find their limits. Whatever company makes these should give themselves a POB!"

Glad I Took the Chance

"Took a chance and snagged these 'Terrain Stealth Sneakers' on sale. I generally prefer to try shoes on before purchase but I'm glad I took a chance as these fit in my normal size. Two weeks in and they're breaking in well. They were comfortable out of the box but have gotten even more comfortable with time. Mainly used for walking around any urban landscape, some jogging and light to moderate work activity (lawn work, minor house repairs, etc. ); they feel and perform great. Quality seems very good. Stitching is solid. I think these are suede (?); fairly thick hide and not thin like cheap ones. Dust and dirt can be wiped off pretty easily. The soles are pretty thick and flexible which makes for standing easier than shoes with thin soles. These feel more stable than any other tennis shoe I have, likely due to the slightly wider and flatter base I assume. And for overall comfort, they are close to my 'slip in Sketchers' that have a thick gel sole, but because those are slip-ins I can't jog in them so I prefer the LAPG sneakers overall. I'm not a fan of the 'sneaker style' aesthetics - regardless of brand - but they certainly do not look bad. The black pair will go with just about anything anyways. If I had one complaint, it would be the shoe laces are a little on the short side, but that's a minor issue. Very glad I purchased these! LAPG is becoming one of my favorite brands."

Q&A

I really, really like these. Have 3 pairs and rock them almost daily. Love the new coyote color way. The only small downside, imho, is the shallow treads on the outsole. They tend to wear down too quickly (in my usage). Any chance of seeing a (crossover) variation sporting the awesome SECTOR sole?! That would be a home run for me. Make it happen. Regards
