The LA Police Gear Level IV Coated Edge-To-Edge Armor Plate provides protection all the way to the edges of the plate. It has a Polyurea coating that seals and protects the plate from weathering conditions, including water, abrasion, chemicals, and wear from inserting/removing the plate from a carrier. The Polyurea coating also helps to keep bullet fragments from spalling, reducing the risk of secondary injuries. Rated at Level IV, this plate is capable of taking multiple armor piercing rifle rounds.
