The JTE Lightweight MOLLE Plate Carrier is a clean, tough, and lightweight plate carrier. It gives you "Just The Essentials (JTE)" and because we trimmed the features down to only the core plate carrier features you need, the price is astoundingly inexpensive. We made sure to include all the key features you demand in a tactical plate carrier. There are adjustable shoulder straps, with removable pads. The straps also feature clip points for your comms or anything else you wish to attach.

We added a small but functional MOLLE panel to the front so you can customize your plate carrier loadout however you prefer. We also have large hook & loop panels for identification patches or morale patches. Lastly, a drag handle on the back has been added as well as a backup safety feature. This minimalist plate carrier vest is sure to meet your needs as either your go-to option or as your backup plate carrier setup. It is also a great option for a weighted vest for workouts (needs plates or weights added)!

"The plate carrier is very lightweight and easily fits a larger man that normally wears between 2x and 3x shirts. I am using this plate carrier for training purposes. I have added uhmwpe level 3 plates and a Krydex placard with a suspended rapid release trauma IFAK to the vest. This vest has been good so far with no tears. I would recommend changing the shoulder pads if you will be running steel plates or heavy load outs as the included pads are very thin and uncomfortable."

"I love this plate carrier. I upgraded my Atlas carrier with ceramic plates from LA Police Gear so I bought the JTE lightweight for my steel plates. It’s the perfect body armour to keep in your truck or car. You can mount panels or Wear it comfortably under a chest rig. Personally, I like being able to switch between AR 15 and AR 9 magazine panels. You can’t beat the price!"

Can a water bladder be attached to the back?: If it has velcro on it, may be able to make it work.
can the vertical loops have buckles mounted to take advantage of removable placards?: Possibly. Do you have a link to the removable placards you are thinking of using?
How do you deep clean this plate carrier?: You can use a mild detergent and submerge the plate carrier in a sink or bath tub filled with warm water and agitate it with your hands. Do not put your plate carrier in a washing machine. Ensure that the plate carrier is fully dry before use. Do not use high heat to dry - we recommend hang drying in a well-ventilated area.
Will 10x12 shooters cut plates fit: Yes it will.
Weight?: Hello, This plate carrier weights 1lb.
What are the differences/ similarities between this carrier and the low vis ? All is see is lack of front Velcro and storage in cummerbund . Anything else ?: That is correct. The JTE doesn't have the velcro or the zippered admin on the front and does not have the storage/pockets in the cummerbund compared to the LVPC.
