The LA Police Gear SlideRail® XWL Tactical Weaponlight is the result of many hours of research and testing, countless samples, and a desire to produce a unique weaponlight. The core of this is our patented SlideRail® feature, which enables the light to fit Glocks or similar polymer rails without requiring you to change out any parts. Because of the unique functionality of the SlideRail®, the XWL is able to be mounted onto your pistol rail, and adjusted in place on the rail to the exact position you'd like (down to the millimeter).

Aside from the amazing new SlideRail® Feature, the XWL also features an 800 lumen output with a 1.5 hour runtime. This light is powered by two 3-volt CR123 lithium batteries (included). The overall size of the XWL means it will fit well into existing light bearing holsters on the market. Ok not great

"It's ok. Puts out a ton of light. Has a klunky, cheap feel to it throughout. It's plastic. Definitely made in west Taiwan. On/off switch much stiffer than other brands. Bought because it is supposed to fit TLR style holsters and it really doesn't. Would be returning it if the return policy weren't what it is."

Nice light but it doesnt fit

"The description says it fits "most" TLR 1 holsters, and maybe I got the only 3 known to man that i Wont accept it, but I bought a Safariland, Blackhawk and We the People only to have issues with every one. The Blackhawk is even the Omnivore, so the weapon doesn't matter, it secures by the flashlight bell. No dice. Bottom line, I think LAPG did everyone a solid by producing lights at a fraction of the cost, but if you want a guaranteed fit, buy the Streamlight."

Q&A

Is it water proof?: Hello, No, this is not waterproof.
Will this fit a VP9?: Unfortunately our product testing was done more for Glocks, we cannot guarantee fitment for the VP9.
Is this light too large for P320 compact: This weaonlight fits on most SIG rails, however, it MAY fit on the P320, Even if you're able to mount it, it’d be pretty large and would stick out a lot. Not what you want for a weaponlight typically.
Will this work with the Blackhawk Omnivore designed for the tlr-1?: Hello! This specific holster was not tested for fit. Overall in our product testing, our weaponlight will fit in most holsters made to accommodate TLR-1 & TLR-1HL lights.
I just received a new xwl and found that when I put the batteries in it it lit up for a split second then nothing. I inspected the direction of the batteries on the swing open door that had a + and -. My guess is that the positive end goes where the + was located and so forth for the negative. I tried different batteries, but still no light! Any ideas?: Yes, the side that has a + would have positive facing out, and the side with a - would have negative facing out.
