"I have been living in the Terrain Flex pants for a year now. I would buy these over 5. 11, Vertx or Condor any day of the week. They have just enough stretch and the pockets are laid out so they’re actually usable. If you’ve tried 5. 11’s pants, you’ve probably noticed their back pockets are so low that anything you put in them feels unsecure—especially your wallet. Vertx appears to be good quality but their pants fit like tights and must be designed for stick figures. I have two upgrades: a lightweight version and a little more reinforcement on the pocket edges to make putting items in while on the move a bit easier. Oh, and make these in shorts!"

"I’ve been wearing LAPG chinos and Tac pants for years and these are by far the most comfortable pants I’ve tried to date. I like the straight leg, multi pocket style albeit the right front penlight/mag/utility pocket needs to be lower and a tad deeper to clear my belt. The leg and waist seams don’t ride or pinch during everyday duty routines. I absolutely adore the flex fit, rip stop material and so far it’s been color fast after many washes. Daily IWB is a breeze with these as the super tough belt loops are spaced just right to clear my rig. LAPG stands behind their products and I will continue to order gear as long as they keep rolling out great products like these."

"I can run so fast in these pants! No swish swish of annoying polyester "hiking" pants, or chaffing that you get from jeans. Sit, stoop, kneel, crouch - move - and you don't have to adjust these afterwards. As for wearability these are my favorite pants. They are a very soft and pliable denim/canvass fabric that even after 5 years have yet to show any holes or damage (unlike the 8 pairs of normal jeans I have gone through during that time) Just some color fade from washing and the hemming around the ankles show a lil bit of wear."

"I love the style, fit, and features of these pants. The only reason I gave three stars instead of 5 is the material. It's soft and stretchy, but the black material collects every little hair, lint, dust. . . you have to constantly use a lint roller on them, especially after washing. . . even when washed with all black, lint free clothing."

Q&A

Are these effectively the same as the Terrain Flex with limited sizes on closeout? I had 6 pairs that I purchased last fall and I loved them except for the outside seam stitching. After a couple months, multiple pairs developed what I would call "blowouts" at about mid thigh height along the outer seams. I still wore them until the seams continued to open down to the knee. I really want to come back to these pants for work and personal use but if the seam stitching is the same I may need to go with a different option.

Hello just checking in to see when you will fill the Coyote Terrain Flex Straight 9 pocket in 34x34. Mine at getting at the end of service life and looking for a replacement. Hands down the best I have worn.
