Not the Same Socks of Old

"I purchased these socks because of my past experiences with them. The older socks were great and offered compression qualities. These new versions however, is nothing more than a large dress sock. Completely different material with no stretch or compression values. If I could return them, I would. I love my older version of these socks, but these new pairs unfortunately miss the mark. Disappointed."

Q&A

Im wearing short boots, but looking for tall socks to keep my legs warm in the winter, are these designed only for the warm climate to keep cool, or will they keep my calves warm in the cold?: these are not particularly thick so they are more of a warm weather style sock.
My calves are massive...15-16 inches. Will these still go over my calves?: we do feel that these socks might be just a bit to snug in the calf are and they would not fit comfortably so we might recommend standard crew socks.
Do you have any for someone who has a larger foot? I wear boots size 13 - 14.: Unfortunately we only have one size for these socks. However 5.11 does have some socks that will fit that size.
How many come in a pack?: These would be 1 pair per pack.
