The Cold Steel Pocket Bushman Stainless Handle Plain is both economical and super strong, this knife features a patent pending lock design that gets as close as possible to matching the strength and rigidity of a fixed blade without being a fixed blade. The blade is hollow ground from top to bottom with just enough belly to be used for a variety of tasks.

The handle uses a mono block design from the famous French Douk Douk knives that gets rid of the need for liners, handle scales, or back spacers. The result is a durable single piece stainless steel housing that provide incredible strength and rigidity with a Ram Safe lock.

Work Horse of a Knife

"The Pocket Bushman by Cold Steel is a work horse of folding knives. Right out of the box it is shaving sharp and is very easy to sharpen at a 25% angle. The body of the knife is all steel which can get a bit slippery but it still works well for field dressing deer and other game. This knife is very rugged and can take a real beating."

"THIS IS A GREAT KNIFE TO THROW IN THE TRUNK OF YOUR CAR, OR YOUR BACKPACK. LIKE OTHER COLD STEEL PRODUCTS I OWN, IT CAME VERY SHARP AND FEELS VERY STURDY. IT ISN'T DESIGNED TO BE USED FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME-THE GRIP IS SLIPPERY, AND WOULD CERTAINLY HAVE HOT SPOTS. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS CLOSING THE KNIFE. YOU MUST PULL A CORD TO GAIN LEVERAGE FOR THE LOCK. ON A SLIPPERY KNIFE, THIS ISN'T A GREAT IDEA. ANYONE WITH SMALL/WEAK HANDS WILL HAVE GREAT DIFFICULTY CLOSING THIS KNIFE. AND DESPITE IT'S NAME, IT ISN'T A POCKET KNIFE. THAT SAID, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE, ESPECIALLY FOR THE LOW PRICE I PAID"
