Rite in the Rain

The Rite in the Rain story began nearly a century ago in the forests of the Great Northwest. Entrepreneur Jerry Darling recognized the logging industry's need for a durable material that could be written on and survive in poor weather conditions. The hassle of soggy and illegible paperwork had plagued outdoor professionals for decades.  So Jerry developed a special coating that created a unique moisture shield on the hand-dipped sheets of paper that he and his wife, Mary, processed in their home.  And so, from humble beginnings, the first all-weather paper was born!

Over many years, the folks at Rite in the Rain have perfected and patented their environmentally responsible coating process.  Today, their continued mission is to provide innovative products for professionals and enthusiasts who brave the outdoors.

All the LAPG staff members have used the Rite in the Rain 3x5 Notebook at one time or another.  We love it! The 3x5 notebook is the global standard for tactical notebooks!  The 3 x 5 notebooks have 100 universal pages (50 sheets), and with the Universal Pattern, you can easily use this text for notes and scaled drawings.  Plus there's useful reference material that is printed on the back and inside covers.

But the very best part about Rite in the Rain materials??  Despite it's durability, Rite in the Rain is as recyclable as standard office paper! Simply recycle Rite in the Rain as you do other office paper.  Things couldn't be easier. Or simpler. Or so tactically perfect!
