Can any additional .556 pouches be added to this vest?

Pouches can be added on to the vest but it would require you to remove other pouches to make room.

I'm wondering about the adjustability of this vest. Can I adjust it to fit my frame or is it a one-size affair? I'm 6'5", 285 lbs and have a 52" chest. I have to buy shirts in Tall or Extra tall sizes to fit comfortably.

This Blackhawk vest can be adjusted to any size. If you look at the pictures on the product page, from the side view you can see that there are 3 tabs that you can pull that will extend the girth of this vest well beyond 52". Also, there is a tab on each shoulder that allows you to adjust how far down the vest will sit.

will the vest accomodate a colt 1911 45 rail gun

We have tested this vest with a Blackhawk 1911 Demo Gun and it did fit. We are unaware of the size difference of the standard 1911 and the 1911 Rail Gun but if they are roughly the same size, it will fit. The holster however will not accommodate a weapon with and attachments such as a weapon light or laser.

When fully extended, this vest can fit a 56" chest and is 32.5" from top to bottom.

Yes if you purchase the right handed version the holster will be on your left side.

the cross draw holster does have some adjustment room to it so you should be able to get it to adjust to your weapon just fine.

The holster for your weapon should fit just fine as it is an adjustable holster to be able to fit most weapons. as for the mags you are referring to though we are unsure if these will fit but if they are similar to an m16 or m4 mag then they should fit just fine.

The cross draw holster is adjustable to fit most common mid and large size framed weapons. it should be able to fit your weapon just fine.

This Blackhawk Vest will hold the S&W 1006. It will be a little tight though. As for a subcompact XD, that will also fit but we are not sure how tight it will be in the holster due to its short barrel.

Will a Full size Sig Sauer P226 or P220 fit in this holster?

we are showing that this holster is adjustable and should have no problems fitting the P226

unfortunately not the holster is stitched on so it can not be moved.

the holster is adjustable and should be able to adjust to your weapon just fine and not allow any sort of movement and keep the weapon secure.

I see that the od green vest is a left hand setup, but the only left hand option i see is in black, is there a left hand od green option at all?

Great question! They did at one point make the OD Green for both left and right handed shooters but unfortunately they have discontinued the left handed version. I hope this helps!

can this be used with the BlackHawk S.T.R.I.K.E. Cutaway Plate Carrier?

There is no real way to use the STRIKE Plate Carrier with this vest, but if you wanted to, there is no reason why you wouldn't be able to wear this vest over the plate carrier.

Will the rifle mag pouches hold two (2) P-Mags each? Will the pistol mag pouches hold one Glock 21 mag each?

Yes Rifle pouches will take two P-Mags and the smaller mag pouches will fit several different mags.

Will BPG-HY-6725 fit in the back pocket of vest or do i need the whole hydration pack with case/straps etc? basically how is the hydration carrier setup like?

The BPG-HY-6725 will fit in the back pocket of this vest without the pack. There is even a little strap that goes around the hydration tube to hold it in place.

The standard vest (30EV26) has the pistol holster on the left side for right handed draw and the left handed vest (30EV26-L) has the holster on the right side for left handed draw.

A H&K USP Tactical .45 will not fit in the holster. It is too wide.

The holster on this item is a universal holster that can fit most weapons. it can be adjusted and should fit your glock 34 just fine after the adjustments are made.

The holster can fit a wide range of pistols. It should fit your Berretta but we cannot guarantee it will with the weapon light as Blackhawk does not list that as a configuration. We will ask our customer to see if they have tried out this combo.

All the pouches on this Blackhawk Vest are sewn on and cannot be removed.
