Excellent Quality

"This is my 2nd pair of Belleville’s. My first pair was the 770s, I still have them and still use them. These seem to fit my narrow foot better. It’s hard to beat Belleville. I’ve owned the Danner Acadia also. The toe box in the Acadia constricts too much. Not so with these. Excellent quality boots."

Great Boots. Surprisingly Lightweight.

"Bought these boots for hiking and backpacking. Buyer was worried about the weight of these boots for hiking and backpacking prior to ordering. However, upon delivery and first fit these boots are surprisingly light weight. After the first hike they are not heavy. They break in after a day of use after cleaning with saddle soap and a heavy application of leather conditioning oil. Buyer does recommend ordering a half size or full size smaller than a normally purchased boot or shoe depending on the weather and sock used by the user."

Most comfortable boots I've ever worn

"I've had these for 3 years and wore them in both Ohio summers and winters. They are fantastic. They are well built and comfortable. I recently retired them to summer use because they goretex seems to not be as effective. Goretex does wear out. Also, the soles are about shot. They have gone up in price a bit but it is worth it to me. Easy to polish. Contrary to what other reviewers said, these are made in USA."

"This is just a cheaper knock off version of Danners. Do I think Danners are overpriced? The answer is yes. Do I think these are overpriced knock offs? Answer is still, yes. If your going to make a copycat, at least knock more than a third off the price. I do buy Danner because they are made in the USA!!"

Great boots

"fast shipping! Been wearing these boots at my custody facility for over 3 weeks and i don't have any complains about them. I also worked a special assignment were i was on my feet for 18.5 hours. They were really comfortable! I was sursprised by how light the boots were, the running insole helps a whole lot! Boots get a great shine to!"

If buying for a female that wears a womens size 8 what size would you recommend ?
Typically you go down a size down for a men's size.
If I wear a 5.5 wide in standard size shoud I order the same with gortex
we would recommend staying with your normal size between manufactures as the boots should run consistent in sizes.
Is the outsole water resistant?
Yes these are waterproof boots.
Can these be resoled? I'm a little confused, I read on the belleville website that boots with the vanguard sole construction could be resoled but I thought only stitch down construction boots could be resoled. Can these be resoled?
